Thanks a lot for your replies. I am including additional info regarding the issue. I am using the same hierarchy in two reports. One is working as expected, so it is displaying values in infoprovider when you select that setting in the query. It also shows two custom values in the Value restriction tab (master data or values in infoprv). On the other hand, the second report is not giving you that option even when 'selecting values in infoprovider'.
So in this case it's not an issue regarding restricting values in the filter - it is more a display issue. Additionally, there is no need to load the hierarchy as transactional data either. I would say I am missing a setting somewhere, but I am checking both backend/frontend and don't find anything yet. Also checking rsrt and query properties...
Please if possible check the attached screenshots, it may help in clarifying the issue.
